Compaq help
Some objects in life always stay to be new. There can be strong reluctance; probably, two reasons account for it, either you are obsessed or don’t want to brave it. I don’t know which of the twos is correct for me.

The object in question is a 10-year-old Compaq PC, which I got as a token of appreciation from my father after clearing off standard 10th school exam. In the course of time I have invested a lot to make it substantial with time. It has a replaced motherboard, upgraded RAM, and the monitor has been substituted once. Still I perceive it as NEW, I’m so uppity about its performance that it hurts me a lot when someone terms it OLD.

Every time when I sit in front of it, I discover a new sense of contentment. I’m grateful to Compaq Customer Support that comes in rescue, whenever I’m in trouble with my PC. Just I have to call on the phone number, and experts can diagnose and fix software and hardware related problems. They install, activate, update, upgrade, repair, troubleshoot and…,whatever required, remotely so as to leave me satisfied with the system.

I don’t remember the last PC repair shop visit that I have had in the past for Compaq help service. Though, I’m not a tech savvy but self-repair service interests me; I will not boast of having expertise, but imitation has transformed me a bit, solutions and troubleshooting steps offered on the Compaq Support portal are really good to be followed. Whether you are looking for drivers, or software update, or PC optimization tools, you will get it at a click.

Wander out, wander in and explore, you will find Compaq troubleshooting inciting. Material success or failure doesn’t matter; its love that prevails at the end.

There can’t be better irony than life. We celebrate morbid cause; try to limit what is unlimited, try to search thing in the ether, so on, and so forth. There is no end…I was trying to pen-down my thoughts with the Acer laptop, meanwhile I forget that I had to rise early as well, and couple of hours were left from the beginning of another day. I had finished all, but when it came to post that with my blogger account, I was shocked. The browser crashed all of a sudden.

Acer reviews
I got a crash report, but that was not so easy for me to interpret or conclude. All I could do was to restart the browser again. I did, and it worked. But then when I submitted that, the cursor icon on the screen went into a long hibernate, the max I could notice was the rotation of the pointer. I waited a long, but in vain.

The unexpected issue nursed my mind with brooding thoughts. It was next to impossible as the machine was brand new that I had purchased last month. In a bid to know about the reliability of the product I also read Acer reviews. Then I took a turn about, thinking it’s useless to cry on spilt milk.

Being struck in the dark tunnel, there was no way left rather than to go with the Acer Technical Support . Luckily I got the Acer number, which proved messiah for me. A technician confirmed some details, and then provided me with few troubleshooting steps, which read as follows:

Update Firefox
Find the latest update form the browser itself. Navigate to the Help menu and select About Firefox, and click on the “Update Now”. Check that you have the latest versions of all your plugins. Go to Plugin Check page and follow the links to update any plugins that are out of date.

Update Windows
Go to the Start menu, select All Programs and then Windows Update. Keep it updated, as it has a crucial role in system performance.

Update your drivers
Analyze whether the machine runs on the latest graphics drivers. If not, then get the update from the manufacturer website or get it through Windows Update.

Update Internet Security software
Verify the status of the system security. Do have the updated security software installed and the Windows Firewall well configured.

It was worth to call on the Acer support number.

The above solution worked well on my system, and I was able to resolve the browser crashing issues with the Acer laptop effectively. Hope, you will find it helpful too.
Acer Technical Support
Yesterday, I updated Windows XP. There were 13 updates in total. It had been last updated a day or two before. But I didn’t get an explanation for the blue-screen error displaying “STOP: 0x0000007B” which popped up today morning, when I turned on my Acer laptop in order to check official mails.

All I could do was to try with the Safe-Mode, and thankfully, it ran, I was chilled muttering ‘something is better than nothing’, then in a bid to get relevant solution to fix the Blue-screen error, I navigated through the Acer Technical Support. I came across a range of error messages, though I couldn’t get the one I was looking for; but then one thing which I could conclude ‘it was something related with the driver conflicts’.

I went through the privacy policy and all that matters for being an Acer customer. Then I got the Acer number displaying under the Contact tab of the site, and dialed it. In no time it was entertained and I came across a technician who was ready to assist. Initially, he took some detail regarding the system configuration, and then instructed me to perform Windows XP Repair. I received an article that read as:

• Did you just install or make a change to a hard drive controller? If so, it could be a probable reason behind the STOP error. Undo the change and test for the 0x7B blue screen error.

• Startup with Last Known Good Configuration to undo related registry and driver changes.

• Use System Restore to undo recent changes.

• Rollback hard drive controller device driver to version prior to your driver update.

• Verify that the hard drive is configured properly in BIOS. The STOP 0x0000007B error could occur if the hard drive settings in BIOS are incorrect.

• Viruses can also damage the master boot record (MBR) or boot sector, so perform a system scan to fix the error. Either use third-party software running on the system or take help from Microsoft Security Essentials.

I was fortunate enough to get the solution in the second step only. Really, it was good to call on the Acer Support number at the right time; it was a miraculous escape from the dreaded system error. You can rely on the solution offered too, I’m happy to share it.
